Environment Division is headed by Environment officer and two sanitary inspectors.
Environment Division(ED) is responsible for:
- Issue of Environment Clearance
- Town Beautification and Landscaping
- Waste management
- Implementation of WPMR 2012
- Management of Urban Forestry
- Timely Collection and Disposals of municipal waste
- Collection of the animal carcasses and unclaimed dead bodies
- Conduct Cleaning Campaigns
- Attend the complaints regarding the sanitation issue
