With the Lifetime Service Award ceremony, Gelephu Thromde bade farewell to Mr. Chhoephey Dorji and Mr. Jamyang Kelzang on April 8, 2022.

Mr. Chhoephey Dorji started his career as Section Officer on August 1, 1988 and has served in various positions and agencies. After serving the Tsa-Wa-Sum as a civil servant for 33 years and 8 months, he finally superannuated as Principal Engineer/Head of Land Record & Survey Division from Gelephu Thromde on April 1, 2022.

Mr. Jamyang Kelzang joined his teaching profession on June 1, 1990. He served in various schools before he superannuated as Sr. Teacher I on April 1, 2022 from Gelephu HSS. He has been teaching for the past 31 years and 9 months.

Two others, Mr. Indra Prasad Phuyel and Mr. Sitaram Sarki retired voluntarily from civil service after serving for about 26 years and 31 years respectively.
